Step into nature and savor the beauty of Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens for our quarterly Mindfulness and Movement silent retreat. This retreat will offer participants the opportunity to unite their mind, body and spirit, with guided sitting meditations, walking meditations in the garden, and gentle mindful movement. Join us for a day of wellness and renewal while deepening your meditation and mindfulness practice.
This silent retreat will be led by experienced practitioners to create a wonderful synergy of relaxation and self exploration. The day will include time alone as well as in community. Listen deeply to your body and witness the beauty of your soul through nature, silence, meditation and movement.
The retreat is suitable for those with all levels of meditation experience as well as for those seeking a day to go inward. Newcomers may find it helpful to attend the introduction to mindfulness program first, however, all are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
