Annual Women’s Retreat : Coming Home to Oneself

  • Shalom House 15340 Robert Terrell Road Montpelier, VA, 23192 United States (map)

We are born with an innate longing for connection and wholeness We are called to a life of meaning. Carl Jung says: "Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams, who looks inside awakens.”

In a safe and soulful sanctuary, join Carol Jacobs for an exploration of the “Sealskin/Soulskin,” story about a knowing and exploration of our soulful cycles of life. Responding to the guidance of inner wisdom we are led to integrate both the feminine and masculine energies toward the gift of becoming who we are called to be.

This retreat of intentional solitude and exploration allows for listening to the inner self and tuning out distractions.  Responding to the discerning of our own inner home – our soul - we deepen our connections to speak and live our unique truth.

Based on the foundational work of Carl Jung and Marion Woodman, our time spent as a sacred circle of women will include discussion, dreamwork, and a variety of experiential opportunities such as journaling, body awareness, art expression, and voice.
