Writing Yourself: Journaling for Well-Being

  • Chrysalis Institute 213 Roseneath Rd Richmond, VA 23221 (map)

Studies show that expressive writing can be an effective way to boost emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing. Through a mashup of writing techniques and prompts based in ancient wisdom traditions and positive psychology, we’ll explore five interlinked dimensions of the Self: Body, Heart, Mind, Soul, and Spirit. You’ll walk away from this workshop not only with tools for your future journaling practice, but with a deeper sense of joy and peace.

This is for you if you:

  • Enjoy writing

  • Keep a journal or would like to start one

  • Want to explore your “best possible self”
