Richmond Shamanic Drum Circle

  • Chrysalis Institute 213 Roseneath Road Richmond, VA, 23221 United States (map)

Recognizing Shamanism as a 30,000-year-old cross-cultural spiritual practice and way of being in respectful awareness, the world is sacred and interdependent. We invite you to celebrate the seasons and life with us with drums, rattles, and shamanic journeying. In this purposeful way of entering into other-than-ordinary awareness, we focus our intention to being of service to the world, a community, or an individual (including self). This circle will share joyous ceremonies rooted in ancient traditions as we honor everyone’s place in the
sacred hoop of life, our essential nature, and relationship with all life. Beginning with group
drumming, we will join in a simple, welcoming ceremony, and follow a basic format providing a foundation for a different program each month.
